K lo K

Dear everyone,

We had an AMAZING ward activity this past week. We called it CCM para

Los miembros (MTC for members). One of each companionship was assigned

a topic to teach about for 12 minutes: inviting, fellowshipping,

Facebook, and how to begin teaching. At the beginning the members

received their "mission call" and we split them up based on their

assignment. First we started with an introduction from Bishop Dickson

and then watched the talk "The First and Greatest Commandment" by

Jeffery R. Holland. It was so amazing. The Spirit in that room was

incredible. I'll never forget that feeling. It was like the ward

members were learning this for the first time. After the talk ended,

Bishop looked and me and just said "Wow."

Then we split into our workshops. It was so much fun teaching the ward

members! We talked about how the only indicator of success as a member

missionary is that you invite! Abinadi didn't have any baptisms, but

he invited everyone, even the wicked king and priests! The members

were so engaged and super excited to learn more! Then at the end

President Morgan came and talked about the Doctrine of Christ and how

the real reason we do missionary work is love. It was so amazing.

Later the Bishop told us that it was the best activity the ward has

had in 20 years. I loved it!

Transfers are next Wednesday and seeing as I'll officially be finished

with training then, I could definitely be transferred, but I really

hope not! I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing... WHOOPS.

Member missionary tip of the week:

USE MORMON WORDS

"How was your weekend?"

"It was great! I went to Relief Society and learned so much about how

to help my family!"

"Oh, what is Relief Society"

BAM. They asked you. SO TELL THEM

I love you all, have a great week and share the gospel with them!

  1. Your Mom just shared the same comment in Relief Society this past Sunday about using church words when talking to people. Love those Hall sisters!
